Interior design photography
As an experienced interiors photographer, I know how to create well composed images that draw attention to all aspects of interior design such as colour schemes, wall coverings, lighting and soft furnishings. I shoot mainly using natural light but can add flash if and when it’s required. Investing in quality images really showcases your interior design projects and will help you attract new clients. It has never been more important in this content hungry age of digital and social media to have a good library of content to promote your work.
Period interiors photography
I have always had a genuine interest in historic homes and landmarks which probably started way back when I visited stately homes as a child. I love nothing more than capturing images of these fascinating places and showing off their opulence and history. When shooting heritage interiors, I understand that great care has to be taken especially when photographing delicate items such as artworks and tapestries and my style of working always avoids using flash. Creating a set of professional images can add so much value and also document these unique and irreplaceable buildings.
Heritage building photography
From grand stately homes to quaint period cottages, I enjoy nothing more than capturing images of these fascinating places within their landscapes.
I choose the right time of day to make sure the exterior is well lit and capture well composed images that are not only beautiful but record all of the buildings details. Photographing a portfolio of professional images can add so much value especially if the building is a hotel, venue or stately home as they help attract the public to visit these unique and beautiful buildings.
Aerial photography & video
I can create professional aerial photography and video footage of your home, architecture or landscape. I am a fully licensed and insured drone operator and can shoot and film at your location.
Aerial footage and imagery gives a completely different perspective on a property and gives an impactful and cinematic feel of the setting and scale of a building or landmark.
Landscape photography
You may need to capture the beauty of an estate or require landscape photography for tourism or an area of natural beauty. Whatever the reason, I can create atmospheric photographs that document the drama of a scene or view. After photographing landscapes for many years, I understand you have to wait to for the right moment to capture the shot, even if that means a late evening or a very early start!
Portrait photography
As well as being a historic property and architecture photographer, my other passion is portrait photography and If I can combine both genres, that’s even better. Over the years I have photographed everyone from Earls in their stately homes, artists in galleries or historical re-enactors on a mock battlefield.
